GoodNews was born in September 2020 in Barcelona with the idea of becoming a coffee reference for the new generations.

Since the inauguration of the first GoodNews coffee kiosk, the first thing we did was give away coffee in exchange for people telling us something good that had happened to them in the last few days. The goal? To remind people that, despite the bad news, good things were still happening that could make them happy. From that moment, we understood that GoodNews' mission was to make people smile again, even if it was just for a moment.

For some years now, there has been a growing trend indicating that people, especially the new generations, prefer to consume coffee on the go. This trend is so pronounced that Starbucks, the world's largest coffee company, has acknowledged that 80% of all its coffee sales in the US are grab&go. This confirms the shift in trends and opens a market opportunity in the coffee industry based on a grab&go model.
